Sliding sashes have the option of folding back internally or externally, with a wide variety of sash configurations  (see below).

 

Access can be designed in a number of ways, open in the centre like French doors or from the side like an entrance door.

 

Unfortunately, these days security has to be a major concern. You will be well protected from unwelcome visitors by the high security multi-point locking mechanisms fitted to all opening sashes, shoot bolt locks on floating mullions and internally glazed sealed units.
